Remnants

I have a wonderful friend by the name of Leslie Riley and she produces Fragments, wall hangings. As a child, I learned to sew and buy remnants in order to save money. These small hangings are remnants of memories...pieces of our past. My first remnant is of my parents when they were first married over 59 years ago..they have since divorced.
I tried to incorporate flowered fabric, ticking like fabric and lace. They were all stained with various methods of aging fabrics. It printed the picture directly to muslim with my inkjet printer.
